The home of the bride’s parents was the setting for the double-ring wedding of Miss Pamela Ann McClanahan and John Paul Elcik IV.
The Rev. Gary Huffman officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony on November 3.
The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. R. M. McClanahan of 151 West Broadway. The parents of the bridegroom are John P. Elcik III of Maryland and Mrs. Ken Skillin of New Hampshire.
Kathy McClanahan-Woods served as matron of honor, and Jim Elcik was best man.
Following a dinner reception at the McClanahan residence, the couple took a wedding trip to Pokagon State Park. They established their home at 107 Red Cloud Trail, No. 1020, in Lafayette.
A 1973 graduate of Shelbyville High School, Mrs. Elcik was a Tri-State University admissions counselor. She also graduated from Ball State University in 1977, where she was affiliated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Mr. Elcik was also a Tri-State University admissions counselor. He graduated from Glen Burnie Senior High School in Maryland and from the University of Maryland in 1974.
