A newspaper announcement marking the marriage of Kathleen Ann McClanahan and Raymond Dennis Woods.
The Murat Shrine Club in Indianapolis was the setting Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. as Miss Kathleen Ann McClanahan became the bride of Raymond Dennis Woods. The Rev. Edward C. McCance officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. R. M. McClanahan of 151 West Broadway and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond O. Woods of Indianapolis.
Miss Pam McClanahan served as her sister’s maid of honor, with Mrs. Louise Kimberling of Washington, D.C., as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Pat Delaney, Sally McClain, Pam Sheets, Sally Punches, Ricarda Jones, and Jayne Stark.
Larry Ostendorf of Indianapolis was best man. Ushers included David McClanahan, Doug Woods, David Woods, Mike Brown, Steve Delaney, Steve McManus, and Les Cordell.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Arabian Room at the Shrine Club.
Mr. and Mrs. Woods planned to reside at 2519 Ryan Drive in Indianapolis upon their return from an island honeymoon.
The bride is a graduate of Ball State University, where she was affiliated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Mr. Woods attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
