Lincoln County, Wisconsin. He married Genevieve Brekke (1895–1973).
Their children were:

Karkos & Pelcarsky
1877–1940 · Durham, Androscoggin County, Maine, USA
We suspect that Mary Pelcarsky (1875–1936) and
Anna Pelcarsky Karkos (1877–1940) were sisters.
Mary Pelcarsky married John Elsik (1866–1941).
Their daughter, Annie M. Elcik (1905), later married
George F. Karkos in 1925.
If Mary and Anna were sisters, this would represent a second familial connection between
the Elcik and Karkos families. Additional documentation is actively being sought.
Elsik
1866–1941 · Durham, Androscoggin County, Maine, USA
There is growing evidence that John Elsik (1866–1941) and
Joseph Elsik (1871–1938) were brothers. Both immigrated from Austria—John in 1891
at age 23 and Joseph in 1901 at age 30—and both settled in Durham, Maine.
Both men gave the same given names to their daughters, a naming practice common at the time.
Baptismal records identify another brother, George, and a sister,
Anna, for whom further information is being sought.

DNA evidence links John Elsik (1866–1941), husband of Mary Pelcarsky,
with John Ilcik (1886–1982), husband of Mary Jeho Zena Jonek.
Current research focuses on ancestral records from Parchovany, Slovakia,
where baptismal records list the surname variants Ilcsik and Ilycsik.
