Michael J. Elcik, age 82, of Pine Lake Park in Manchester Township, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday at Point Pleasant Hospital.
He was born in Lisbon Falls, Maine, and moved to New Jersey in 1967. Michael spent many years employed as a supervisor at the Worumbo Woolen Mills Company in Lisbon Falls, retiring in 1966 after a long career in the textile industry.
Michael was a retired woolen mills supervisor and was respected for his steady work ethic and leadership.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Scro Elcik; his daughter, Mrs. Regina Mills of Clark Township, New Jersey; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Kedz Funeral Home of Toms River, New Jersey.
