Elwood Prosser 1913–2004

Elwood Prosser, age 90, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at his home in Spring Hill, Maine.

He was born in Topsham, Maine, and later moved to the Spring Hill area, where he had resided for approximately 26 years.

Elwood was employed as a master electrician with Hearst Newspapers and also worked at Bath Iron Works in Maine, where he helped build destroyers during World War II.

He was a lifetime Mason and a member of the Eastern Star. A gifted musician, Elwood was a lifetime violinist and one of the founders of the Spring Hill Symphony Orchestra.

Baptist by faith, he was a devoted member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Spring Hill.
