John,
These are all good things to remember. There’s a massive cemetery in Lisbon Falls with many of my relatives and some of Jack’s. I have difficulty remembering their location. Now I have some tools in my back pocket to help me with that.

John,
He’s not home right but will ask him later today. I have a strong feeling he doesn’t know. Unfortunately, he’s NOT interested in anything to do with Ancestry, even if it’s about his family tree. I’m just the opposite; I LOVE IT. I only wish I understood better the technology available today. You’re helping me a lot. There’s another cemetery in town with Elciks, and I’m going there today. I’ll be gone all afternoon and will be in touch later today.
Beth
John,
The more we dig, the more confusing it gets. I have a message from my friend, Pam Lizotte. Her father is George Karkos, and her grandmother Annie Elcik. She has:
She does not have death dates.
CHILDREN
According to her, John P. Elcik Sr. was married to Mary Pelcarsky, whose name I’ve seen before.
I don’t know what to think at this point. Could there possibly be “another” John Elcik that we don’t yet know??
Beth
John,
Yes, that was the first thing I learned to do when I joined Ancestry. I’m assuming you can see all my family trees because of your reference to my Purinton family tree. I also saw some Puringtons in one of your family trees. My maiden name is confusing because my ancestors are from England and the original spelling was Puddington. It changed from that to Purrington, Purington, and Purinton. It’s all the same family.

YES, I saw this video. The video was taken at our house. Tom & Diana Gardner brought your dad and Wanda to Maine, and we had them at our home for lobster. Jack’s father and Uncle Richard were here for a wonderful visit. I remember it well as I loved your dad and Uncle Richard. The video brought tears to my eyes and lots of emotions. WOW, thank you for this…..
