As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a computer geek like you, wish I was. I need your help here. You said something about syncing your Ancestry database with your personal computer. Not sure what you mean by that and how to do it. HELP PLEASE!!!

You may be right about that. I’m not convinced yet and will continue to research. I just talked to Eugene Elcik, 26 Mar 1933, his wife Lorraine Lefrancois, 5 Jun 1935. He had a brother, Andrew. His father was Andrew Elcik 1901-1950, mother Jennie Walker-I don’t know the Bday. They are both buried in the same cemetery as Jack’s parents.
He did tell me there was a Joseph Elcik but didn’t know who he’s connected to, and it’s not him. He remembers your father, Jack’s mother, and their siblings. He’s an author and has written several books, including one on Shiloh, and is currently writing the 2nd book on Shiloh. I’ve read his 1st one, very interesting.
Thank you for the explanations about Family Tree Maker. I’ll be working on that later today. I’m always afraid to try something I don’t understand. I believe with your help; I can achieve more in less time. I’m willing to give it a try!! I have also talked to Pam Lizotte. Her dad is George Karkos, whose mother is Annie Elcik. She’s at work right now, and we’ll talk later. She has all the births and deaths of Annie’s siblings. My head is spinning with all this!!

YES, I did. I don’t know who Paul J. Elcik is, do you?? I know he’s related because Jack’s mom would talk about the Kinneys, plus he’s in the same cemetery as Norm and Gert. Not that that means he’s related, but I have a feeling if you know what I mean.

These are all good things to remember. There’s a massive cemetery in Lisbon Falls with many of my relatives and some of Jack’s. I have difficulty remembering their location. Now I have some tools in my back pocket to help me with that.

I couldn’t open the three attachments you sent. Yes, I know how to use a flash drive. I told you I’m a hacker and a probie if you will, but I’m learning a lot just by trying different things, making mistakes, etc.

He’s not home right but will ask him later today. I have a strong feeling he doesn’t know. Unfortunately, he’s NOT interested in anything to do with Ancestry, even if it’s about his family tree. I’m just the opposite; I LOVE IT. I only wish I understood better the technology available today. You’re helping me a lot. There’s another cemetery in town with Elciks, and I’m going there today. I’ll be gone all afternoon and will be in touch later today.
