Charlotte A. Wentworth, age 78, of 122 Orange Street, Meriden, Connecticut, passed away on Monday, February 25, 1985, at Meriden–Wallingford Hospital. She was born in Bridgton, Maine, on August 28, 1906, a daughter of Tracy Lee Adams and Edith Purrington Adams.
Charlotte spent her early years in Maine before moving to Meriden approximately twenty years prior to her death. She devoted much of her professional life to caring for others, working as a dietitian for twelve years at the Coccomo Intermediate Health Care Center until her retirement.
She was married to Ray Wentworth, who predeceased her.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Clyde Skillin of Naples, Florida; her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jacqueline) Skillin, also of Naples, Florida; two brothers, Charles Adams of Naples, Maine, and Tracy Lee Adams Jr. of the Rockville section of Vernon, Connecticut; and her sister, Edith Baker of Meriden. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held at the convenience of the family at Edes Falls Cemetery in Bridgton, Maine. Arrangements were under the direction of Stempien Funeral Home of Meriden.
