Edna Marie Grap (Risten), age 84, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 3, 2020, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover.
She was born on November 26, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late Joseph Risten and Agnes Risten. Edna was the wife of the late John J. Grap Sr.
Edna was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster, Maryland. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing family above all else.
She is survived by her son, John Grap of Hanover, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Terri Elcik of Hampstead, Maryland; her grandchildren, Stacey Duryea and her husband Dennis, Lauren Portell and her husband Matthew, Christopher Elcik and his wife Devon, Julianne Grap, and Ryan Grap; and her great-grandchildren, Emery and Bria Duryea.
Edna is also survived by her sister, Sally Rosenberg, and her husband Bob.
A private service was held on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at Eline Funeral Home in Hampstead, Maryland, with Pastor Andy Vineberg officiating. Interment took place at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
Memorial contributions were suggested to the American Heart Association or Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
