Eleanor J. Small, age 31, of Lisbon, Maine, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 30, 1956, at CMG Hospital following a short illness.
She was born on July 3, 1925, in Lisbon Falls, Maine, the daughter of John P. Elcik and the late Mary Byrus Elcik.
Eleanor was the wife of Mr. Small and a devoted mother to her two children, a daughter, Joyce, and a son, James.
In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her father, John P. Elcik II; three sisters, Mrs. Madelyn Lucas and Mrs. Gertrude Gamache, both of Lisbon Falls, and Mrs. Mary Plourde of Lisbon; and two brothers, John P. Elcik III of Arlington, Virginia, and Richard Elcik of Augusta, Maine.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Crosman Funeral Home of Lisbon Falls. Visiting hours were held on Wednesday evening, with services following on Thursday.
