John J. Elcik, age 75, of Rocky Point, New York, passed away on September 15, 2018. He was born on August 5, 1943, and was remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
John was the beloved husband of the late Florence Elcik. Together they built a family centered on love and commitment.
He was a devoted father to his son, John Elcik and his wife Debbie, and to his daughter, Karen Elcik McDonald.
John was a cherished grandfather to Miles McDonald, Nicholas Elcik, Quintin McDonald, and Katherine Elcik.
He is also survived by his loving brother, Andrew Elcik.
The family received friends on Monday at the O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 1001 Route 25A in Miller Place, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday morning at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Rocky Point. Entombment followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
