Mary Anna Elcik, age 66, wife of John Elcik of Lisbon Falls, Maine, passed away on Sunday in August 1936 at Ste. Marie’s General Hospital.
She was born in Czechoslovakia in 1870 and had been a resident of Lisbon Falls for thirty-four years. Mary Anna was a devoted member of the Slovak Catholic Church, where her faith and community ties were central to her life.
In addition to her husband, John Elcik, she is survived by three sons: Michael of New Jersey, and John and Andrew Elcik of Lisbon Falls; and four daughters: Mary, Anna, Elizabeth, and Suzanne Elcik, all of Lisbon Falls.
She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Anna Karkos of Lisbon Falls.
