Ronald A. Lucas, age 60, of Cape Neddick, Maine, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in his sleep at home following a month-long battle with cancer.
Ronald was known for his quiet strength and resilience, facing his illness with dignity while surrounded by the comfort of home.
Calling hours were held on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home in York, Maine, followed by a prayer service. A reception followed at the York Beach Fire Station.
A Celebration of Life was planned for later in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were suggested to the Maine Children’s Cancer Program or to Beacon Hospice.
