Hints

Sat, Aug 1, 2020, at 5:03 PM

Beth,

I could see them all, but my initial interest was the Elcik and Gamache trees. In both of those, you did not use sources, and that worried me. ?

Seeing that you have used them in the Purinton family tree was a relief for me. It explains a lot of my email, where I questioned you about using sources and HINTs. With what I was looking at, I was concerned that there are no sources. Again, there are only so many hours in a day. I understand you had to prioritize. ?

Thanks for the heads up on your surname. That will become very useful.

The Family Tree, etc.

Jeff,

While you now have 100% access to the Family tree, that will change in 10 days.

I’m canceling my monthly subscription (too expensive) and moving offline using Family Tree Maker 2019.

I’m able to sync the two. Now, when I subscribe again in a year or so, both trees will get updated. Easy to do.

I picked Family Tree Maker as it also syncs all the documents and images between the two programs, something that using a traditional GED file export/import doesn’t do.

If you wish to branch off on your own, I will provide you with a backup of my data.

Happy Birthday

Mon, Aug 3, 2020, at 8:17 AM

Beth,

My computer says today is your birthday. It is smarter than me. So, this is the song Pam and I would sing if you were here.

“Kings and Queens and Princes too, Want to wish the best to you! So, wish-day, wash-day, what do you say, birthday, Happy Birthday to you!”

Pam learned this song when she was in college at a restaurant called Cork and Cleaver.

I hope Jack has planned a great day for you.

Here, it is our tradition to see how long the celebrations can last. Michelle has a record of a full week. ?
