Beth,
I should have said that the sister is Richard’s wife.

Beth,
The attached spreadsheet has separate worksheets for many of the surnames in the family tree. Which surname is the most represented? The Skillin family (my Mom’s family) has that honor. While the McClanahan family (Pam’s father) is tiny.
Each tab also has the number of persons in the worksheet.
Does this interest you?

Beth,
I want to try something new.
The attached file is a bookmarks file in HTML format. Import this file into your browser.
If you do this, it will add a tab called “Cousins” to your favorites. The tab displays a modified copy of my favorite links related to our ancestry research. I think you will enjoy having these links.
If you need help, remind me what browser you are using. Generic instructions for Chrome follow.

Look for the new tab on your favorites. Enjoy!
Beth,
There is some work involved, but I enjoy doing it. I have my office set up so that I can work and watch TV at the same time. This task took a couple of hours. I did it by cutting and pasting by individual pages.
One of my 17 suggestions for Ancestry.com is that they add a feature to export the index of individuals into a spreadsheet. If not this, then allow us to sort by Date-of-Birth and Date-of-Death. These two sorts in Excel allowed me to find duplicate individuals more quickly.

Beth,
I found the house with the 21 Davis Street location, but Zillow says the house is in Lisbon, not Lisbon Falls. Did Lisbon annex it?
I know it is the right house as Zillow has 25 pictures.
It was worth the search as the pictures remind me of coming “home” to 45 Davis Street.
I remember how comfortable the upstairs bed was. I don’t know what kind of mattress it was, but manufacturers don’t make beds like that anymore. You sink into the mattress, and the covers were incredibly warm.
I remember custom kitchen cabinets installed during one of our all too infrequent visits.
Finally, I remember there being a chicken coop—no pictures of it. ?

Thank you for helping me! I just told Jack that his Maine Maritime Acadamy photo was taken during the time I thought he looked like Ben Gazzara (it may also have been the voice.) More recently, a picture of him with you looks like a young Gene Hackman. And you, yourself, are extremely photogenic today. Here is a family picture from several years ago. We need to have a more recent one commissioned. J.P. is a teacher and getting married soon to Ana, also a teacher. Michelle is a Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens. Pam and I are enjoying retirement.
