Hi John,

Very interesting story. You have a very stable marriage with deep love as I do. We put up with so much and remain in love.

My husband is a bleeding heart liberal and this election should tear us apart but it doesn’t. I love him deeply.
You get the picture.

Anyways, I forgot to say to you, your daughter’s DNA is mtDNA. That is the womb DNA. That is how, when a dead baby is discovered, they can take a DNA test. mtDNA cannot be transferred in the male but he carries it. In a woman, it passes to both son and daughter.

So doing the Autosomal DNA, and yes, I will wait. Plenty of time, as it is the best.

In answer to your question, yes, getting the raw data and n old password is NOT worth the time. 
 
I have attached how the autosomal DNA looks like.  I have over 13,000 matches, so I printed a couple of pages.
 
Also, your daughter’s MtDNA is the “womb” DNA. I cannot find the page you sent me, but I think it was Haplogroup C.  Mine is Haplogroup H56. You can look both up online. Her MtDNA has nothing to do with us as a family.  Now your son carries this MtDNA but cannot transfer it to his children. His children will get their MtDNA from their mother.
 
There is a discount if I refer you, and I get a $10.00 gift card from Amazon, so you will have to order it from Amazon when you are ready.
 
Autosomal DNA is sooooooo much fun.  It tells you how we would relate us.
 
You worked too hard trying to get the raw data.
But, when you are ready and do the autosomal DNA form Ancestry, I would need your raw data to put in GEDMATCH.
 
You can learn about the HVR1 and HVR2 online and type in the coding regions.

Sure. No problem waiting but I think you’re cute waiting for the discount.  You’re like my husband. Good for you.

Okay, the YDNA is separate. And if your daughter did the autosomal with 23 and me, then there is a system, maybe, for a transfer to Ancestry. Not sure.

Anyways, I want your autosomal DNA not mixed with your wife’s DNA.

Don’t concern yourself with your YDNA. You and your son have the same.

I’m just interested in YOUR family to see HOW we are connected. 

So I am very lazy, on your side, I can wait as long as you promise to do it????

Not yet. But it should be any day now. The tracking software says they received the kit and they are processing it. ?
 
I’m with you on the election.  I know he won.  We could never elect a crook, even with fake news. We, the people, must be smarter than that.
