Our Family eBook, Entitled “My Cousins”

The package arrived safely, and I am ecstatic about its contents. Wow!  He had the treasure trove of Elcik, Gamache, and who knows what else memories for sure!

It may take me years to sort this out.  Not only will I be converting items to electronic media, time, and expense permitting, but I will also do my best to identify items.  I’m not sure how to do that yet. Pinterest might be an option. Any suggestions?

To give you an idea of the “treasures,” the first couple of items I looked at:

• Pictures of Nancy and Jack Gamache (including baby pictures of Nancy)
• A copy of the Newspaper account of the Nancy Gamache and Larry Kashmer Wedding

The package includes thousands of photos (paper, not digital) and documents.  There are also hundreds, if not more, slides. I don’t yet know how to digitalize the latter.

The priority one for me now is to get my scanner setup and start with some photos.

Naturally, I plan to share, but this is a major undertaking, and I have no idea when that will happen.
