This is the proof. In the picture are Jack’s sister Nancy, my brother James and me. I’m the oldest of three brothers.
Fond memories. Lisbon Falls, specifically 45 Davis Street, was our first stop when we would return to the States. Dad was a Communications Technician in the Navy, and we lived in Guam, Japan, and the Philippines. My youngest brother Jeffery was born in Japan. Other memories include Moxie (I drank the last bottle of my Christmas present last night) and Italian Subs from Luiggis in Lewiston.
Isn’t Sabattus close to Lewiston? Have you ever had a Luiggis sub? Their full name claims it to be a pizza place. I wouldn’t know. I never got past their subs.

P.S. The main reason I started using the IV comes with the Ancestry project.  I began corresponding with John Elcik of Rocky Point, New York.  Since Beth and others would be seeing the emails, I added the IV to distinguish when it was me. It got to be a habit.

I understand your frustration in continuing your Ancestry research.  I think we’ve both done all we can do concerning the Elcik family tree.  Lack of available records has made it difficult, or should I say impossible, to proceed.  I’ve done everything I can think of to help but always run into roadblocks.  I WILL eventually look at St. Cyril and Hillside maps at the HS as soon as they open.  Hopefully, there will be info as to where your great grandfather and mother are buried.
 
I did learn that the records for St. Cyril and Holy Family churches are at a Catholic church in Lewiston.  I know there aren’t enough priests for the area churches, and the church population has declined in recent years.  They combined the 3 Catholic churches in Lisbon/Lisbon Falls many years ago and built one large church (Holy Trinity) across the street from us for those same reasons.  
 
I still have the 3 flash drives you sent me.  One of them is blank, one has Family sheets, etc., on it, and the 3rd one is for me to keep.  I haven’t downloaded info onto the blank one yet, and I still plan to do that.  When I do, I’ll send both of them to you.  I’ve been doing the HS reports since Christmas and hope to finish that in a few days.  Honestly, I’ve been procrastinating on doing all of that and need to get back at it.
