Re: Genealogy Blog for MyCousins Family Tree Contributors

Becky,
You lovely lady, you are not a bother. That is a word I reserve for myself.  Lol.
It is my pleasure to resend credentials for the MyCousins family tree.  And please don’t worry, I will resend them anytime.
This Facebook stuff was frustrating.  They suspended my account and reactivated it two days later—both actions without explanation.  I plan to drop them, but I hope to have other communication methods before I do so.  You and I have email addresses to keep in touch with, so we are OK. The WeMe blog is a temporary solution for communicating to the MyCousins contributors as a group.  Eventually, I will have a privately hosted blog on a MyCousins.org website along with the eBook.
So, yes, I am working hard.  I have lots to do to get ready for publishing the MyCousins eBook, for which Beth Gamache is my co-author.
I also want to send you a copy of the Flash drive when the eBook gets published. It will have all the source documents, photos, etc. That reminds me, I will need a snail mail address for sending that.  It will be a gift for you to keep. Ideally, you will you the drive to collect your own family memorabilia. Please, and thank you. 🙂
Let me know if you have not got the replacement credentials for the family tree. Ancestry.com sends them, and I can never tell for sure that they get sent. 🙂
Warmest regards,
John, IV

Join Us in Preserving Our Family’s Heritage

Join us in going forward.

Hopefully, each of us will heroically dig into the basement and search the attic for photos that can be added to the family history.

[In Florida, this means the garage as we don’t have a basement. Heroic is not a term I chose haphazardly. Take a look at the pictures below of my garage. Lol. Beth has both a basement and an attic, with perhaps double the opportunity for heroics? – John]

Some of you will be superheroes and write Life Stories to share with us.

Whatever your contribution, future generations are sure to be grateful,

Please send your “artifacts” to:

From my point of view, this is scary. Notice that there is no commonality between these two pictures. This means it never gets better. Ouch!
